Our Heart

At Christ Church, we believe that God’s mission is bigger than any one church, city, or country. From Muskegon County to the ends of the earth, we exist to glorify God by loving Him, loving others, and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8).

Jesus calls His Church to be both sent and rooted—sent to proclaim the gospel among every tribe, language, people, and nation, and rooted in the places He’s planted us to show His compassion to our neighbors. That’s why our mission reaches both internationally and locally:

  • Internationally, we partner with gospel-centered churches and networks (through Great Commission Collective) who are working to plant and strengthen congregations, train leaders, and proclaim Christ among the nations.

  • Locally, we join hands with like-minded ministries serving Muskegon County to meet tangible needs, pursue justice, and display Christ’s mercy to the vulnerable and marginalized.

Every believer has a part to play—whether to pray, give, go, serve, or promote—as we join God in His redeeming work around the world and right here at home. Our desire is that every disciple at Christ Church would grow a heart that beats for the nations and eyes that see the needs across the street.

Together, we labor for His glory until every people and every place know the name of Jesus.
