Elders, Deacons, & Staff

Elders

Elders exist to oversee the direction, doctrine, and discipleship of the local church. At Christ Church, given the size of our church and staff, the responsibility is wisely shared between an elder team that carries overarching oversight and pastors who focus on specific ministries. This role is reserved exclusively for qualified men as explained below.

Deacons

Deacons serve the church under the oversight of the elders by serving the body or stewarding the church’s resources in a specific way. When held in its proper context, this is an office that both qualified men and women can hold.

Staff

Our staff is led by our lead pastor and is responsible for ministry initiatives, day-to-day responsibilities for all ministry operations, and other matters delegated to them by the Elder team.
