Great Commission Collective

The Great Commission is a call to plant churches to be worshiping communities that are intentionally making disciples. The Great Commission Collective inspires and empowers churches to actively and obediently fulfill Christ’s mandate to make disciples in every nation. They reinforce the church’s desire to please Jesus Christ, the One who is its Head and the only recipient of worship. GC Collective equips churches to train, coach, resource, and care for pastors, leaders and disciples as they live on mission for God.

Local Partners

Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus regularly reached out to the marginalized, the hurting, and the vulnerable in his community. We believe that as the Spirit transforms us more and more into the image of Christ, we begin to see the world and our community through His eyes. This leads to a compassionate outpouring of love, care, and support for those in our community who are in need.

Christ Church is in active partnership with three local compassion ministries. Throughout the year, we invite and encourage you to serve each of these ministries in a variety of ways to engage God’s mission for your life. Check them out below, and consider getting involved today.

Muskegon Rescue Mission

Muskegon Rescue Mission has been serving individuals and families since 1907. At multiple locations throughout our community, they provide food, shelter, clothing, and spiritual direction to those in need. By relieving the immediate needs of our hurting neighbors, Muskegon Rescue Mission is able to address the root cause of their distress and offer the spiritual nourishment necessary to affect true and lasting change.

Fresh Coast Alliance

Fresh Coast Alliance offers holistic and individualized support for men and women with a criminal history and/or a pattern of substance abuse. Through providing services such as housing, groups, coaching, and therapy, they aim to care for the whole person, creating pathways for engagement, healing, and skill development.

The H.O.P.E. Project

The mission of The H.O.P.E. Project is to support the healing of girls and women who have survived sex trafficking and to prevent further cases through mentoring and education. Meeting survivors right where they are, The H.O.P.E. Project assess their immediate needs and identifies available resources to support their path to healing. They also provide mentor support and rehabilitative housing for women and young girls who are victims of sex trafficking.
