Are you looking for a time of refreshment, encouragement, relationship, and fun? This women's retreat is for you! Join us for this overnight retreat at Grace Adventures in Mears, MI on October 18th and 19th.
ABOUT THIS RETREAT
Grace. We see that word plastered on everything from home décor to t-shirts, but what is God's grace, and how does His grace impact our lives? One thing is for sure: our retreat speaker, Becky Willy, will attest that grace is far more than we make of it. Prompted by a close friend’s challenge, Becky began reflecting on God’s grace throughout her life. She journaled specific moments that spanned many years as a Pastor’s wife, proud mother, retreat speaker and leader —moments of victory and joy to some of the most painful times of her life. As the pages were written, it was clear all of those moments were saturated with God’s grace. It was this friend’s challenge that birthed the Glimpses of Grace Retreat.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Becky Willey was born into a loving Christian home in California and accepted Christ into her life at a young age. Her faith continued to grow as she left home to attend Wheaton College where she met her husband Rob. After college she was a middle-school math teacher, director of children’s ministries, stay-at-home mom and is currently a Weight Watchers leader. Her faith was challenged when God called her husband out of a successful bond-trading career into full-time ministry. God’s Word became her lifeline as she strove to trust Him for provision and strength in her new role as pastor’s wife – a role which she loves and embraces today. She teaches God’s Word with grace and humor and loves to see women respond. She is happily married to Rob who is the Senior Pastor of Coram Deo Bible Church in Davenport, IA and they have 3 grown daughters and a 2 new sons-in-law!
